I had been looking for this for years, thought it had been lost on a hard drive that died. But finally found a copy in some old school work that's been in a box at my parents' house for decades. I present:
the girl's account of...
Authors: Krytella and her best friend Anna, age 9(?)
Fandom: X-Men: The Animated Series
Rating: G
Length: ~400 words
Pairings/characters: Jean Grey/Cyclops, Wolverine, Sabretooth, others
Content notes: none.
Author's Notes: Edited to remove capslock and add more line breaks. I preserved all spelling and grammar errors of the original. This is an abandoned WIP.
Everything was going along perfectly. Jean Grey was walking along the aisle and Cyclops had his back turned, when they heard a sound outside. Wolverine went to the window to see what it was. It was Sabretooth, trying to warn them he and all his men were going to break in.
“Right now isn’t a good time to do it, said Wolverine. Do you think you could come back in about three hours?”
“Oh yes, what ever’s best for you,” said Sabretooth.
“Thank you,” said Wolverine.
(Three hours later)
They heard Saberetooth again. Wolverine went back to the window.
“Are you ready yet?” asked Saberetooth.
“Give us 15 minutes to get out of our good clothes,” said Wolverine.
“Okay, said Saberetooth, see you in 15 minutes!”
“Ok, bye,” said Wolverine.
(16 minutes later)
Oh dear, said Gambit, we’re one minute late!
Oh, said Beast, you are right. We had better tell them we are ready.
Just a minute, said Rogue. Better tell them to knock first!
And wipe they’re feet, said Jubilee, I just washed the floor!
Act calm, too, said Jean Grey. Don’t want them to think that we’re scared, because we’re not, we’re friends.
You’re right, said Beast, we shouldn’t be scared of them, they’re our best friends!
Well, we don’t want to keep them waiting, said Cyclops.
I’ll go open the door. Remember to tell them those things! Said Rogue.
And one more thing, said Jean Grey, no knocking town walls like last time! It cost us 1,000 dollars!
Ok, ok, said Wolverine, I’ll tell them all that, are you contented now, girls?
Don’t call us girls, we have names, you know.
All right, said Beast, we won’t call you girls anymore. Right, guys?
“Oh Wolverine! You got a new outfit! I love it! Especially those big pointy ears! Who’s your tailor?” said Saberetooth.
“Why thank you!” said Wolverine, “but my tailor is a very secretive and shy man.”
“Oh,” said Saberetooth, starting to sniffle.
“But I absolutely love your outfit! It’s so imaginative!” said Wolverine, trying to cheer him up.
“Oh, you really like it?! I…”
“C’mon guys!” interrupted Cyclops. “We’ve got a fight to do!”
“That’s right boys! We’ve got a reputation to maintain!” added Rogue, shuffling her hair.
“Everyone in position!” shouted Prof. X through his megaphone.
To never be continued, sadly…
