Mount Fuji
Sep. 24th, 2011 12:00 am I read this anecdote quite a while ago and now I can't seem to find it online anywhere. I'm not even sure anymore if it was originally talking about race, gender, or privilege in general. Maybe someone knows the source?
To paraphrase what I remember: "Privilege is like Mount Fuji in ukiyo-e landscape paintings. It's always there somewhere. And if you can't see it? That's because you're standing on it."
