Media things that I consumed, aka LEVERAGE

I started watching Leverage about three weeks ago.

I am now approaching the end of season 3.

So, that happened.

And also the searching ao3 for Hardison/Parker/Eliot and Hardison/Eliot fic, searching by reverse date posted, and clicking on everything that doesn't look bad. The ao3 tells me I have viewed about 160 Leverage fics since Jan 21. Um.

I have some observations:
* WHY WASN'T I IN THIS FANDOM WHEN THE SHOW WAS ON THE AIR. WHO FUCKED THAT UP. YOU ARE ALL FIRED.
* Leverage slashy fics, at least from the era that the show was on the air, are almost uniformly short. *Goes to look up corroborating info*. There are only four non-crossover fics on the ao3 for Leverage out of over 3000 that are more than 100k words, and only six more in the 50-100k novel length range. There are 2200 with fewer than 2000 words.
* I am possessed of a deep desire to write undercover-in-a-BDSM-club fic. Not sure if I can pull it off.
* John Rogers' blog is a gift, even though he loves Stephen Moffat. At least he's not a fanfic shamer.
* Everybody on this show is way too attractive
* I can read and watch thingswithwings' Leverage stuff now/soon and that is like my birthday and also Christmas
* Trying to absorb a whole fandom on the ao3 alone sucks. I miss real interaction. That's why I've been trying to make regular posts to DW recently.
* If I were to write an Inception/Leverage crossover fic, it would be Parker/Ariadne, because of reasons that make sense only to me.
* My card board for fic I may someday write in this fandom includes the note: "Hair pulling. Maybe this should just be in every story actually."
* This fandom has so much kink potential. So much. All the suspension. The whole of season 2 being about the theme of control, according to the creator. Roleplaying, all the time. Punching. Did I mention hair pulling.
